Appearing in the answers an AI gives

More and more people no longer type their question into Google. They ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or the assistant on their phone. Whoever is not in there does not exist for those people.

How this differs from classic SEO

On Google you fight for a place in a list. A person sees ten results and picks one. With an AI there is no list. There is one answer, and you are either in it or you are not.

That answer is built from what a machine can read about you: from your site, from directories, from mentions elsewhere. If there is nothing clear, it guesses or it leaves you out. This can be influenced, and most of your competitors are not doing it yet. That is why the timing is good right now.

What is included

  • Structured details about company, services and location that a machine can read without guessing
  • Clear answers to the questions your customers actually ask
  • The same details across every source, otherwise the AI trusts none of them
  • A short version of your site in plain text that a language model can read directly
  • Deliberately allowing AI services access instead of blocking them by accident
  • Pages that are fully readable without JavaScript, otherwise the AI sees an empty page

How it works

  1. 01

    Where you stand

I ask the big assistants what they say about you today. The result surprises almost everybody.

  2. 02

    Clearing up

Line up contradictory details, add structured data, open up access.

  3. 03

    Giving answers

Answer the questions your customers ask in a way a machine can quote.

  4. 04

    Asking again

After four to eight weeks, the same questions once more. You see in black and white what changed.

Questions about AI visibility

Is this not the same as SEO?

It overlaps, but the goal is a different one. SEO gets you into a list, this is about being named in a sentence. A site can rank well on Google and still never come up in ChatGPT.

Can this be influenced at all?

Not steered, but clearly improved. A machine can only repeat what it finds and can place with certainty. Whoever delivers clean, consistent details gets named more often than somebody with nothing reliable written about them.

How do I measure whether it works?

By asking the same questions before and after and writing down the answers. That is imprecise, but honest. Anyone promising you exact numbers here is inventing them.

Is this not too early?

It is new and still moving, I say that openly. But the groundwork that comes out of it helps classic SEO too. So you are not building anything that becomes worthless if the field develops differently than expected.

What does it cost?

As a one time setup it stays manageable, because a lot of it is plain craft. Tell me what it is about and you get a fixed number.

Ask me what ChatGPT says about you

I will check and send you the answer. Free, and usually revealing.
